The highly anticipated trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and his anti-heroic symbiote, has finally been unveiled. The movie, set to be Hardy's final appearance as Venom, shows Eddie and Venom on the run, hunted by both their worlds, leading to a devastating decision that will conclude their trilogy.

Co-written by Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel, who also directs the movie, the film brings together a cast that includes Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Orwell Taylor, Stephen Graham, and Alanna Ubach. Peggy Lu also returns as Mrs Chen from the previous two films.

The trailer reveals a wealth of Marvel references, with fans speculating on various plot points, such as potential multiversal ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the return of Rhys Ifans' Doctor Kurt Connors from The Amazing Spider-Man.

Among the symbiotes teased in the trailer is Toxin, Carnage's offspring from the comics, who might be gunning for Eddie and Venom after the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Another alarming presence is Xenophage, an alien that preys on symbiotes, hinting at more extraterrestrial dangers for Eddie and Venom.

The film's multiversal dimension includes connections to the MCU, as indicated by the appearance of Cristo Fernandez, who briefly cameoed in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and a cameo that suggests the involvement of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man villain, The Lizard.

With a release date of October 25, fans will have to wait for further details on these tantalizing hints. In the meantime, Marvel enthusiasts can catch up on Spider-Man movies or explore the upcoming Marvel Phase 5.
