Meta AI Expands with New Languages and "Imagine Me" Feature
Meta AI, the artificial intelligence assistant from Meta, is now more accessible than ever. Recent updates have extended its reach geographically, linguistically, and artistically. Users in 22 countries can now utilize Meta AI across popular platforms, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook. The chatbot has also become multilingual, with the ability to understand and respond in seven new languages: French, German, Hindi, Hindi-Romanized Script, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
The expansion has also introduced a new AI image creation tool called "Imagine Me". This feature allows users to create a digital avatar of themselves that can be placed into any fantasy setting they desire. The AI utilizes uploaded photos to craft an avatar and, with a simple text prompt, can place the user into a variety of art styles or scenarios. Want to see how you'd look as royalty or in a surrealist painting? This tool makes it possible. And if you're not satisfied with the initial result, you can submit a follow-up prompt to edit the image until it aligns with your vision.
Not only can users interact with the Meta AI via the platforms, but individuals wearing Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Meta Quest headsets will also experience it firsthand. As for sharing these creations, soon they will be sharable on Facebook stories and posts, as well as through messages on Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.
The release of these features sets Meta apart from its competitors like OpenAI and Google, as these rivals currently do not offer this level of personalized AI image generation. Meta AI is also improving its capabilities to tackle complex questions in math and coding with the advanced AI model, Llama 405B, available on WhatsApp and meta.ai.
