Apple fans eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence may have to hold on just a little longer. Despite not being ready for the initial launch of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September, the new feature is expected to be introduced with the subsequent updates, iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, which are anticipated to roll out by October.

The buzz around Apple Intelligence has been building, with promises of advanced AI capabilities that will enhance the user experience. Not all features will be available right away, though. For example, the AI-powered Siri, which can operate apps for you, is slated for release later in the year or potentially even next year.

However, not every Apple device will be able to enjoy the benefits of Apple Intelligence. The feature will require a device with an A17 Pro processor or M-series chip to function, meaning it will only be compatible with newer models such as the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Developers eager to test out some of the AI features can look forward to the betas for iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, which are rumored to be available for them to experiment with as early as this week. Whether you're a developer or an Apple enthusiast, there's certainly a lot to look forward to with the upcoming updates.

Stay tuned as Apple gears up to enhance your device with advanced intelligence.
